Doctoral studies are postgraduate education, educational programs of which are aimed at training personnel for scientific, pedagogical and (or) professional activities with the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
Applicants to doctoral studies provide international certificates confirming their knowledge of a foreign language in accordance with the common European competences (standards) of foreign language proficiency:

The entrance examination for groups of doctoral educational programs is conducted by the university independently.For the period of entrance examinations to doctoral studies, examination commissions are created at the university for groups of educational programs.Examination commissions for groups of educational programs are formed from among the teaching staff of the university, employees of universities and scientific organizations who have an academic degree of doctor or candidate of science or a doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevant profile.Persons who score the highest scores in comprehensive testing and (or) the sum of entrance exams: at least 100 points are enrolled in training under an educational order on a competitive basis.Admission to the number of doctoral students is carried out by the admission committee of the university based on the results of the entrance exam for groups of doctoral educational programs and a certificate confirming knowledge of a foreign language in accordance with the pan-European competencies (standards) of foreign language proficiency.When enrolling at a university, doctoral students independently choose an educational program from the appropriate group of educational programs.Enrollment of persons for targeted training of Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) under the state educational order is carried out on a competitive basis.
