Ualikhanov University was ranked for the first time among the world's best universities by the British ranking agency Times Higher Education / THE Impact Ranking 2022

The international rating agency Times Higher Education published the results of THE Impact Ranking 2022.
THE Impact Ranking is a ranking published by the prestigious British rating agency Times Higher Education, which evaluates universities in terms of their engagement with the global Sustainable Development Goals approved by the United Nations General Assembly.
It is considered one of the most influential global university rankings in the world. The ranking was developed in 2010 by Times Higher Education together with Thomson Reuters as part of the Global Institutional Profiles Project and replaced the popular QS World University Rankings. This year the list includes more than 1500+ universities around the world.
The Ualikhanov University rankings are broken down into the following categories based on their contribution to specific sustainability goals:
SDG №1 - "Eradicate Poverty" - 601+ place;
SDG №2 - "End Hunger, Ensure Food Security, Improve Nutrition, and Promote Sustainable Agriculture" - 301-400 place;
SDG №3 - "Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages" - 801-1000 place;
SDG №4 - "Provide quality education and expand learning opportunities for all" - 201-300 places;
SDG №11 - "Ensure openness, safety, resilience and environmental sustainability of cities and human settlements" - 601+ place;
SDG №16 - "Fostering Peaceful Societies, Access to Justice and Accountability" - 601-800+ place;
SDG №17 - "Strengthen the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development" - 1001+ place.
It is important to note that Ualikhanov University has taken a high position in the category of SDG №4 - "Providing quality education and expanding learning opportunities for all," entering the top 200 best universities in the world for this goal of Sustainable Development.
