Kairzhan Gabdullovich was born on June 6, 1938 in the village of Kunchuk, Isilkul district, Omsk region, bordering Kazakhstan. The father of the scientist Gabdulla, a front-line soldier who survived many trials during the Great Patriotic War, spent his entire life in exhausting peasant labor, dreaming of giving his children an education, his mother, a beauty with the aristocratic name Khanym, worked in the rear during the hard times of war. In Soviet times, it was not customary to delve into the forgotten origins of the family. Argyn branch, venerable clan of guards, montyk sary. Who really were the distant ancestors of the noble family Kozhabayev, which in translation means rich kazhy, from the descendants of Arab missionaries, who knows... In his native village, little Kairzhan graduated from primary school, and a seven-year-old graduated from high school in neighboring Kaskat. There was no Kazakh school in the entire Isilkul region, so the gifted young man completed his ten-year education in Petropavlovsk at a regional boarding school. His father’s dream “mugalim bol, galym bol” came true: in 1962, a graduate of the Physics and Mathematics Department of the Petropavlovsk Pedagogical Institute, Kairzhan Kozhabayev, began working at the city secondary school No. 41. Two years later, moving to the city of Kokshetau. The young teacher of mathematics and physics at railway secondary school No. 22 confidently comprehends the basics of pedagogical skills, managing to teach part-time at the Kok-Chetav Pedagogical Institute in the department of elementary mathematics. Memory is a fragile fabric, it tears in the most inappropriate places, and sometimes changes. But the very first, starting from 1965, the born teacher Kairzhan Gabdullovich invariably associated his successes and achievements to the heights of the science of mathematics with the university staff. Here, from now on until his very last days, until his last breath, is his big friendly home, his big friendly family, and the students are his dear, if not always obedient, children. Colleagues are not only brothers and sisters in the department. Even both sons, two wings Kanat and Arman, also followed the example of their father, whom they idolized. The learned ascetic Kairzhan Gabdullovich, with all his being, for half a century, or more precisely, 58 years of work at the university, proved in practice: the unity of teaching and upbringing is not a dogma, but the dialectical essence of the educational process. For decades, the scientific teacher has carefully and comprehensively researched various aspects of the education and training of young people. In 1985, he defended his Ph.D. thesis at the Research Institute of Educational Methods of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR. In the very capital of the USSR, in the white-stone capital of Moscow. I wasn’t in a hurry with my doctorate, I wasn’t in a hurry, I wasn’t pressed by time or circumstances. In general, the character of a scientist is characterized by sedateness, restraint, and even a certain stateliness. He knew well the value of genuine scientific research. When in recent years Kairzhan Gablulovich, who experienced dramatic events in his personal life that are inevitable in the life of each of us, climbed the steps of the upward staircase, in his leisurely step alone one felt the symbolism, the absence of vanity of vanities, the philosophical contemplation of the thinker, in the heart and mind feeling and understanding “it’s not time that’s running out, it’s us that’s leaving”... In 2006, in Almaty, a doctoral dissertation on methods of teaching mathematics was brilliantly defended at the flagship of pedagogical science in Kazakhstan, the first university of the republic - the Kazakh National University named after Abaya. The results of Kairzhan Gabdullovich’s scientific research are reflected in more than 180 valuable scientific publications. The book by Kairzhan Gabdullovich “On the educational orientation of teaching mathematics,” published in Moscow, played a big role for the teachers of the republic, which really brought real benefits to mathematics teachers in rural and urban schools. It is not without reason that, at the request of the teachers themselves, Kairzhan Gabdullovich, when bringing his students from the Physics and Mathematics Mathematics to practice in city schools, managed to organize meetings with colleagues. By the way, the seminars with practicing school teachers turned out to be mutually necessary and exciting. Like no other university scientist, Kozhabayev deeply penetrated into the essence of the creative work of a simple ordinary teacher, they consulted with him, they waited for his methodological help and received it invariably and unselfishly. This was by no means an armchair education reformer, but a scientist who seriously thought about the real quality of teaching mathematics, which is difficult for children and adolescents. The ease with which he, as an academician, communicated with students and undergraduates remained an incomprehensible mystery for many. From our school years we remember the popular textbook phrase “simplicity as an expression of truth.” Probably, the secret of true success among Kairzhan Gabdullovich’s students and undergraduates is in this very simplicity. Kozhabayev did not like to show off his real significant achievements; he did not seek or achieve awards. As vice-rector for scientific work, Doctor of Philology, Professor Aigul Doszhanovna Zhakupova, who worked next to him for thirty years, figuratively noted, “the awards themselves found him.” For it was impossible not to highlight the titanic efforts of a man whose contribution to public education was very great. With such pain and bitterness, I worried about the temporary decline in the prestige of scientific educational activities in Kazakhstan as a whole. The scientist Kozhabayev presented the results of his research at numerous international, all-Union and republican scientific and practical conferences. Under the leadership of Kairzhan Gabdullovich, doctoral, master's and master's dissertations on the problems of methods of teaching mathematics at school and at university were prepared and defended. The scientist was respected and recognized, valued in the republic - for several years Professor Kozhabayev was a member of the dissertation council at the South Kazakhstan State University. M. He headed the department of algebra, geometry and methods of teaching mathematics (1977-1984), mobilized the intellectual resources of the department to achieve clarity and effectiveness of the educational process. In 1984-1991, he headed the preparatory department of the Pedagogical Institute, which was not at all easy. But young people with labor and military training had to be properly prepared for entering a university. In 1991-1994, Kairzhan Gabdullovich, as vice-rector for educational work at the level of the entire educational institution, implemented his pedagogical ideas for the education of student youth. Kairzhan Gabdullovich also found time to participate in the public life of the university, and was elected chairman of the institute’s trade union committee, a member of the party bureau, and a member of the university’s academic council. Advocating for the direct relationship between the pedagogical institute and schools, he headed the commission for relations with schools. The professor, valued by his colleagues for his honesty, was trusted and elected chairman of the commission of people's control. In 1991-2001, he was a member of the council of the Republican Educational and Methodological Council (RUMC) for small schools at Kustanai University. Aigul Zhakupova shared her memory: “Our faithful mentor, Teacher Kairzhan Gabdullovich Kozhabaev. The professor spent his entire adult professional life at Kokshetau University. Sh. For a long time, Professor Kozhabaev led a research laboratory where current problems of low-competent schools were studied (and this was in the early 2000s). Textbooks under his authorship provided significant assistance in the development of educational programs for double majors, for which today our university provides high-quality training for teachers. I remember, direct and open, Kairzhan Gabdullovich did not immediately accept new approaches to learning based on credit technology. In his opinion, the most effective were fundamental theoretical lectures, well-organized practice at school, the mandatory involvement of practitioners in the educational process and, of course, the depth of research methodology. But gradually Kairzhan Gabdullovich switched to new teaching technologies and initiated the opening of doctoral studies in pedagogical mathematics at our university. Thanks to his efforts and the efforts of the Department of Mathematics and Physics, today more than ten people have studied and are currently studying in this educational program at our university. Professor Kozhabayev did not have many doctoral students for the simple reason that he took a very responsible approach to their scientific training, literally nurtured, looked after, helped, sparing no effort and time. And this requires a lot of health and energy. The professor was honest in everything and above all to himself... This fall our university will celebrate its 60th anniversary... without Kairzhan Gabdullovich... He worked at the university for almost 60 years, standing at the origins. Of course, the name of Professor Kozhabayev will take its rightful place in the history of the university, and his memory will live in our hearts, in the affairs of his students. Colleagues also recalled a lot about the scientific heritage of Kairzhan Gabdullovich, about the activities of the scientific laboratory “Didactics of Higher and Secondary Schools” headed by him during the period of reform of domestic higher education, which was engaged in the search for effective ways to train specialists in the conditions of credit technology of education. Thanks largely to the acquaintance of Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Kozhabayev with scientists from Russian universities, valuable scientific connections have been established with the departments of Moscow, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tolyatti and other pedagogical universities of Russia. A connection has been established with the Rzeszow University of Technology (Poland) and the University of Liepaja (Latvia). The high professional authority of Kairzhan Gabdullovich Kozhabaev is eloquently evidenced by the fact that he was a member of the organizing committee of international scientific and practical conferences (Omsk, Tolyatti, Kursk, Novosibirsk.) For his many years of work in the field of education, Kairzhan Gabdullovich received many thanks and certificates. For his contribution to science, Kozhabayev’s name is included in the sixth volume of the “Scientists of Russia” encyclopedia. And now, forever in the glorious chronicle of the University named after Shokan Ualikhanov, the name of Kairzhan Kozhabayevich is inscribed in golden letters.
