On May 26, 2023, a meeting took place between students of Kokshetau Ualikhanov University and the akim (mayor) of Kokshetau, Bauyrzhan Seitkalievich Gaisa. The meeting was initiated by the Alumni Association of Ualikhanov University as part of the implementation of events dedicated to successful university graduates.

The purpose of the event is to introduce students of Kokshetau Ualikhanov University to an interesting individual, a public figure, a successful manager, and the Mayor of Kokshetau. The round table discussion was moderated by the advisor to the rector, Amanbai Seitkasymov.

The meeting was conducted in a "question and answer" format and elicited genuine interest from its participants. Bauyrzhan Seitkalievich shared stories from his biography, school and student life, and talked about the everyday concerns of the mayor and plans for the future. During the dialogue, Bauyrzhan Seitkalievich addressed questions from the students, such as what competencies and skills a modern specialist should possess, and what steps are necessary to achieve desired goals.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the speaker drew attention to the popular trend of "lifelong learning," which contributes to social integration, active civic engagement, personal development, as well as self-sufficiency and competitiveness in the job market.
