Learning outcomes and competencies
- Use the acquired skills and abilities in the performance of tasks, applying acreative approach and critical thinking in the learning process;
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a team, correctly defend one's point of view,offer new solutions;
- Solve problems on the technology of growing planting material, methods ofcreating forest crops using knowledge of morphology, biology of woody andshrubby plants
- Analyze and control the organization and implementation of work to protectgreen spaces from fires, unauthorized logging, to combat pests and forest diseases
- Use knowledge in the field to measure trees and shrubs using forest inventorydevices, determine and evaluate the quantitative and qualitative characteristics offorests
- Evaluate the quality of timber and apply modern methods of preserving thebiological diversity of forest and urban ecosystems, taking into account globalenvironmental significance and other natural properties
- Use the acquired skills in compiling reports of various state forestryinstitutions, acts on forest fires and other forest violations
- Design the construction and operation of landscape architecture objects,reconstruction of green spaces and parks using new information technologies
- participate in the development and testing of new technological systems, toolsand methods designed to solve professional problems in forestry and forest parkmanagement;
- Use advanced scientific methods and technical means to quickly solve forestryproblems in the field of forest resource management
