On December 26, 2024, a seminar dedicated to the implementation of the Jean Monnet Module, titled “European Union: Promoting Cultural Diversity and Tolerance (EUDIVE) – 2023-2026,” was held at Sh.Ualikhanov Kokshetau University. The event explored the theme of cultural diversity in the European Union and Kazakhstan. Conducted in a hybrid format, the seminar welcomed participants both in-person and virtually via Zoom. The session was moderated by Module coordinator, Ainaigul Ismagulova.

The seminar began with opening remarks from Laura Paluanova, Head of the National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan, who highlighted the value of cultural diversity in fostering global cohesion and mutual understanding. Following her, Anuarbek Kakabayev, Advisor to the Rector on International Integration, underscored the significance of international collaboration in educational initiatives.

The main agenda included a detailed presentation by Ainaigul Ismagulova and Elmira Gerfanova who elaborated on the objectives, themes, and learning outcomes of the EUDIVE module. A practical case study session led by Gulmira Rakisheva explored effective techniques and methods for adapting to intercultural communication settings. The seminar concluded with a Q&A session, where participants had the opportunity to ask questions and share their perspectives on cultural diversity in the EU and Kazakhstan.
