The meeting within the framework of the CirculEC project at the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology

On December 24, 2024 at the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology was held an information session dedicated to the introduction to the project “Development of innovative curricula and modules in the field of circular economy and sustainable development (CirculEC)” of the Erasmus+ program. The participants of the meeting were students and teachers of the department.

The participants of the meeting were presented information about the CirculEC project aimed at accelerating the transition to a circular economy and the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals and Green Deal measures.

The team members of CirculEC of Kokshetau University Nurmukhanbetova Nurgul and Belgibayeva Anargul answered questions about the project, shared information about the implementation of the CirculEC project. They also spoke about the results of the project, which include the integration of the topic of circular economy and sustainable development into educational programs; promoting the implementation of sustainable development goals; cooperation with industry organizations to research the issues of circular economy.
