On November 13, 2024, foreign 2nd year students of the Higher School of Medicine visited the Museum of Mercy and Courage of the Kokshetau Higher Medical College. This is the only museum in the world dedicated to nurses, awarded the highest award of the International Committee of the Red Cross - the Florence Nightingale Medal. The Mercy and Courage Museum is open so that they remember, do not forget, study and be worthy of the heroines whose exploits are narrated by the exhibits of the museum.

The museum's guide Razia Kuandykovna Sapieva told the students about the veterans of the Great Patriotic War of the city of Kokshetau, who were awarded the Honorary Badge of the museum "Mercy and Courage". Their exploits will forever remain in the memory of mankind. They fought against violence and genocide, against fascism, and those who survived continued to work for the benefit of the people and the state they defended.

International students, inspired by the visit to the museum, were happy to share a piece of their culture, presenting their national traditions and talents. They organized a small performance where they demonstrated music, dances, songs and stories about their native countries.

This was the highlight of the event, which allowed not only to strengthen cultural exchange, but also to create an atmosphere of unity and mutual understanding.Such events help to better understand how diverse the world is, and remind of the importance of tolerance and mutual respect
