On November 25, 2024, first-year students of the Higher School of Medicine took part in a lecture dedicated to World AIDS Day. This event is aimed at raising awareness about the problems associated with the spread of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), its prevention and treatment.

During the lecture, key aspects of the fight against AIDS were discussed, including protection methods, modern treatment approaches, as well as the importance of a tolerant attitude towards people living with HIV. Special attention was paid to the need for regular HIV testing and the formation of a healthy lifestyle.

Such educational events play an important role in the prevention of the disease and the formation of a responsible attitude among young people towards their own health and the health of others.
