The curatorial hours spent on November 20-25, 2024 with students of the Higher School of Medicine were aimed at preventing drug addiction and drug crime among young people. As part of the curatorial hours, the participants were shown a documentary film directed by Rinat Balgabaev entitled "Bookmarks".
The film touches on the current problems of drug distribution among young people, reveals the dangers associated with the use of psychoactive substances, and highlights the mechanisms of involving young people in drug use through the so-called "bookmarks". Watching the film became an occasion to discuss issues related to protecting young people from the effects of drugs, raising awareness of responsibility for participating in such actions, as well as preventing negative consequences.
After watching the film, the students took part in a dialogue aimed at forming a responsible attitude towards their health and safety. Such events promote civic education and inform young people about the legal and social aspects of the fight against drug crime.
