A branch of the Department of General Linguistics and Literature was officially opened at the publishing house “Keleshsek-2030 baspasy”. Within this branch, the “Journalism” academic program will be implemented, giving students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop professional skills in a real production environment.
The main goal of the branch is to provide students with practical training, enhance the applied focus of the educational process, and organize collaborative research, methodological seminars, and professional meetings.
During the ceremonial opening, a red ribbon was cut, and the agreement on the establishment of the branch was signed by Y. Solovyeva, Head of the Publishing House, and A. Bekseitova, Director of the Pedagogical Institute. The event was attended by L. Baymanova, Head of the Department, A. Tajmieva, Director of the Career and Employment Center, A. Negmetzhanova, responsible for branch coordination from the department, as well as students of the Journalism program, all of whom contributed directly to the project’s implementation.
A dedicated training room has been set up at the publishing house, where practical classes, production internships, methodological sessions, and career guidance activities will take place.
The opening of this branch not only enhances the quality of education, but also makes the learning process more flexible and aligned with the requirements of the modern labor market, while expanding strategic cooperation between “Keleshsek-2030 baspasy” and Ualikhanov University.
We are delighted that students will have the opportunity to combine theory with practice and develop professional skills from day one, preparing them for a successful career in journalism.
