From October 31 to November 3, the Central Asian University in Tashkent hosted the International Medical Olympiad “Medicine of the Future 2025”, which brought together 46 universities from Asia and Europe.

Our School of Medicine team proudly represented Ualikhanov University, completing all stages successfully and ranking 28th overall. Even more impressively, they made it to the TOP 10 in clinical case challenges!

The Olympiad aimed to enhance the professional competencies of future doctors, promote the exchange of advanced medical knowledge, and strengthen academic cooperation among leading medical universities worldwide.

We’re so proud of our students for demonstrating strong knowledge, hands-on skills, and confidence in tackling complex clinical cases. This proves that Ualikhanov University’s School of Medicine is training highly skilled and competitive healthcare professionals.

The team’s impressive results were made possible through early hands-on training with cutting-edge simulation technology, including:

the virtual 3D patient Academix3D;

the VR hardware-software system AcademiX;

a range of multifunctional computerized robotic simulators.

Using modern simulation-based training, our medical students confidently develop clinical reasoning and practical skills that meet international standards in medical education.

Notably, the School of Medicine at Ualikhanov University offers accredited bachelor’s, master’s, and residency programs in Kazakh, Russian, and English.
