The Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan, Dr. Nagendra Prasad, met with students from India at Ualikhanov University today as part of his working visit.This visit was an important milestone in strengthening the university's international partnership, especially in the field of medical education, which actively attracts students from India.

The first enrollment of students from India took place in 2018, and today more than 350 students from India are studying in medical programs at Ualikhanov University.

Currently, the Graduate School of Medicine offers specialist training in six educational programs, including bachelor's, master's, internship and residency, as well as a preparatory department for international students.The Ambassador paid special attention to the innovative laboratories of the Higher School of Medicine, noting the high level of educational and scientific resources of the university.

India and Kazakhstan have long and strong cultural and economic ties, which we will strengthen and expand. This visit serves as an excellent basis for the further development of our cooperation and support for Indian students studying here.
