Topicality

Kazakhstan society has faced the need to form a new civic identity in the era of globalization. The relevance of this study is due to the need to address issues affecting linguistic and cultural aspects that shape the future generation in the context of globalization and intensive cultural contacts. Educational programs and methods should also take into account the modern challenges of globalization and technology. Increased access to digital and media resources is having a tremendous impact on children's worldviews. Innovative in the context of the strategy of social development of multinational modern Kazakhstan is the research within the framework of the project on the influence of children's literature on the formation of cultural values and civic identity. The project is based on the position that linguistic consciousness reflects the vision of the surrounding world, including its cultural and social values.

Objective

The aim of the project is to study the influence of language on the process of formation and development of cultural values and civic identity of children in the polylingual space of Kazakhstan in the era of globalization by analyzing the mechanisms and factors that influence this process.

Project outcomes

Achieving the goal and solving the set tasks of the project is possible with an interdisciplinary approach, combining linguistic, pedagogical, cultural and sociological aspects. From the point of view of linguistics, the role of language in the formation of cultural values and civic identity in a multicultural space will be analyzed. In this regard, it is important to study the influence of cultural and social contexts on personal development and self-determination of an individual. The pedagogical aspect implies the search for effective strategies through children's literature for the formation of cultural values and civic identity of the younger generation of Kazakhstan. Given these areas of research, the project seeks not only to expand theoretical knowledge about the influence of multicultural environment on identity formation, but also to provide practical recommendations and steps to address the development of cultural values and civic identity of the younger generation.

This project has the potential to influence various aspects of the public and scientific spheres. The results of analyzing theoretical literature and experimental data can contribute to the expansion of scientific knowledge of the influence of multicultural environments and its impact on the formation of cultural values and civic position through an interdisciplinary approach and the correlation of such factors as linguistic, pedagogical, cultural and sociological.

The project will have a social effect, since the study of the mechanisms of self-determination and identity formation contributes to the development of moral guidelines and civic position, which leads to the strengthening of socio-cultural stability in a multilingual space. The economic potential is that the practical and theoretical results of the project may lead to the creation of new educational and cultural products, such as a textbook for children in three languages with fairy tales, stories, novels by Kazakhstani authors, a scholarly manual on the translation of children's literature, a monograph reflecting the results of theoretical research of the project team. The parties interested in the results of the project are also the Committee on Languages of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Translators' Associations, etc. The results of the research may be of interest to the international community. The results of the research may be of interest to the international scientific community, contributing to the strengthening of academic ties and exchange of experience with other countries.
