On December 8, 2014, the Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics hosted a meeting with the participation of the main coordinator from the University of Alicante (Spain), project coordinators from the University of Graz (Austria), the University of Sheffield (Great Britain) and partner universities of Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan).Kristna Binns spoke about the tasks and goals of the project, changes in the project calendar, and the composition of the Quality Board Project Management Board.Rene Schenzel from the University of Graz presented the results of RP 1 "Generating knowledge and identifying best practices" and presented the work plan for career guidance centers at Universities: a guide to best practices.Kristina Binns spoke about RP 2 " Capacity building (transfer of know-how)". All partners were informed about the place and date of the 2,3,4 training seminars. All trainings for employees of Career Centers will be held in 2015 at universities in Central Asia. Practical trainings for Career Centers will be held in partner European universities.Svetlana Simbard from BAFE spoke about the goals and objectives of WP 3 "Strengthening the organizational capacity of career guidance centers", the modernization of action plans for 2014-2017, the development and adoption of action plans including annual work plans for 2014-2017, the modernization of the technical capacity of 12 APCs, the purchase and installation of equipment, and the increase in the number of employees involved in/creating centers, websites, and databases.In turn Abror Zhuraev from Bukhara State University, the head of RP 4 "Network Organization and strategic support actions" told the project coordinators, employees of career centers about the dates and locations of the National and Regional Forums.Sarah Pates, leader of the WP 5 "Operational solutions for improving the services of career guidance centers" from the University of Sheffield, introduced the meeting participants to the main goals and objectives of this RP. The implementation of this EP will start from the 18th month of the project, which includes the following: offers advanced services for students, implementation and experimental management of new / expanded services, competition of business plans for students, organization and selection process of BCC, employment marathon.Mahabbat Ramazanova from KSU named after Sh.Ualikhanov informed the partners about the updates of WP 6 "Quality Plan". Together with the coordinator from the University of Alicante, a "Project Quality Control and Monitoring Manual" was developed. This manual has been sentto Quality Board membersfor approval. Syllabus assessment forms were developed for the first BAFE training and coordinator meeting.In turn, the leader of RP 7 "Distribution" Shukhrad Maksudov from the Khujand Polytechnic Institute presented a strategy for distributing the project results using various tools.Kristina Binns spoke about the project's work plans for the coming year and explained the project's financial issues.
