On January 9, 2025, teachers of the Higher School of Medicine took part in a practical seminar for curators on the topic of "Prevention of auto-destructive behavior", organized by university psychologists A. Abitaeva and A. Manapova.
The event was devoted to current issues of prevention and detection of early signs of auto-destructive behavior in students and young people. During the seminar, participants studied:
Modern methods of diagnostics and prevention of auto-destructive behavior.
Basic psychological approaches to working with young people.
Methods for creating a safe educational environment.
Recommendations for the interaction of curators with the psychological service of the university.
The seminar included both a theoretical part and practical exercises aimed at developing curators' skills in effective communication, emotional support and crisis response.
Such events contribute to improving the professional competence of teachers and ensure the creation of conditions for strengthening the mental health of students.
