The Pedagogical Innovations laboratory started the month of science with a discussion platform on current issues of education “University science for schools: research of the Pedagogical Innovations laboratory”, which took place on April 4, 2024. The event was attended by deputy directors of schools of Kokshetau and the Akmola region, heads of methodological associations, English teachers. Head of the laboratory @Rakisheva G.M. together with the leaders of grant funding and initiative projects shared research results with the participants. Project Manager of the grant project sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science @Ismagulova A.E. IRN AP14871729 “Creation of a scientific and educational consortium of universities in Kazakhstan to reduce the gap between the quality of English language teaching in urban and rural schools” presented the interim results of a study aimed at creating a favorable educational environment in secondary schools by reducing the gap between the quality of English language teaching in rural and urban schools; educational technology and training courses on STEAM technology for English teachers. The project team includes 5 universities in Kazakhstan, the research is carried out in the context of 4 regions. Project Manager of the grant project sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science @Sabitova D.S. IRN AP19676455 “Scientific and methodological approaches to the popularization of science among children and youth using modern technological means of communication” shared intermediate results in the form of developed media content packages aimed at a specific target audience, taking into account effective communication channels; formats for presenting content, which were developed on the basis of a sociological experiment conducted in 5 regions of Kazakhstan. Project Manager of the grant project sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science @Rakisheva G.M. IRN AP14869833 “Strengthening the psychological health of Kazakh schoolchildren as a factor in reducing the risks of cyberbullying in the process of online socialization” presented the results that will be distributed in schools in the Akmola region starting from the next academic year: MOOC “Fundamentals of network socialization” for class teachers and school psychologists; a video course for schoolchildren “How to avoid becoming a victim of a cyberstalker”; a virtual psychological laboratory platform for psychodiagnostic work.

The organizers conducted a foresight session which was aimed at identifying current research trends on the problems and development of school education.
