At the Silver University, the organization of practical master classes with the participation of university students is becoming an established practice. Such initiatives create an educational environment that fosters effective intergenerational interaction, promotes knowledge exchange, and contributes to the development of students’ social responsibility.

On March 4, 2026, students of the Department of information and communicationTechnologies - Veronika Kozhedub and Karina Shabaeva conducted a practical training session for the participants of the Silver University on obtaining an electronic digital signature (EDS) via the eGov portal using a mobile phone.

During the session, participants became familiar with the procedure for obtaining an EDS, explored the key functions of government digital services, and acquired practical skills in independently processing electronic documents. Such training sessions contribute to improving the digital literacy of older adults and expanding their opportunities to use public online services.

The intergenerational learning format adds particular significance to the event. Participation of students in such educational initiatives supports the development of professional competencies, communication skills, and strengthens the values of social responsibility and respect for the life experience of the older generation.
