At the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature of Ualikhanov University, a ceremonial opening of the regional literary and research room dedicated to the writer and journalist Zhanaydar Baymyrzauly Musin took place.

The new room is intended to promote the study and popularization of Zhanaydar Musin’s creative legacy, as well as to stimulate students’ research activities. The initiative for its opening was supported by the writer’s relatives, who have demonstrated a commitment to preserving his literary heritage and integrating it into the educational process.

The opening ceremony was attended by members of Musin’s family and descendants, the university administration, the faculty and staff of the department, students, as well as the prominent writer and journalist Serik Zhetpiskaliev.

Zhanaydar Baymyrzauly Musin was born in the Zerendi region and made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh literature and journalism. His works are distinguished by a strong civic stance, attention to pressing social issues, and the promotion of national values.

The literary and research room will become an important academic platform, enabling Musin’s legacy to be incorporated into scholarly work, expanding the scope of students’ term papers and theses, and fostering the research potential of young scholars.
