Short abstract of scientific and public activity

Borgul Natalya Mikhailovna has been working at the English Language and Teaching Methodology Department since 2003. She trains specialists studying on educational programs "Translation studies" and "Foreign language: two foreign languages"; a lecturer, developer of syllabuses and teaching materials for the disciplines "Fundamentals of the theory of the target language", "Translation Theory", "Practice of Translation", "Practice of Speech Communication Culture", etc.; developer of the educational program "Translation Studies" for 2022-2026 academic years. Until 2018 Borgul N. M. was the supervisor of thesis and term papers on translation theory and language theory, as well as the head of the student's research club. Until 2021, she was a member of the Philological Faculty Council and was also responsible for the department's website; has been involved many times as an expert on test assignments and a member of the committee at the testing by the National Testing Center; the author of textbooks, published translations, and scholarly articles. Currently, Borgul N. M. is an adviser to several groups studying in the educational program "Translation Studies", as well as a participant in a research project carried out under the grant funding of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
