In 2023 the Charity Project "Coursera" - kazak tilinde" was realized with the help of the Public Foundation "Kazakhstan Khalkyna" and with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Within the framework of this project 3000 students of Ualikhanov University in spring, summer and fall streams had free access to more than 11000 educational courses from all over the world on the Coursera platform, the results of the project were 3033 Coursera certificates of successful completion of courses by students. In March 2024, Ualikhanov University received free access for 500 students to study on Coursera platform, which increased the number of courses to 13000, this is a great opportunity to improve the quality of knowledge of university students and open access for Kazakhstani students to global educational information. 102 priority courses are already available on the platform in Kazakh and Russian languages, covering such areas as programming and digitalization, mathematics, physics, marketing and others.
