Learning outcomes and competencies

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of the scientific and theoretical foundations of laws and patterns inthe natural sciences, social sciences, humanitarian, economic disciplines. Understand theimportance of the principles and culture of academic integrity. Collect, interpret information toform judgments, taking into account social, ethical and scientific considerations. Know the basicsof valeology and pedagogy.
  • Use language skills, application software, modern methods of information processing, new digitallearning technologies. Know the methods of scientific research and academic writing. Applyscientific principles and knowledge of evidence-based medicine in medical practice.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients and relatives of patients. To knowthe basics of medical first aid, to be able to analyze the situation, to carry out cardiopulmonaryresuscitation, to carry out artificial ventilation of the lungs. Possess special knowledge, skills andmethods for monitoring and caring for patients, carrying out special manipulations.
  • To be able to demonstrate knowledge about the structural foundations of life at the cellular,chemical, tissue and genetic level and the biophysical processes of the body.
  • To analyze the regularities of the structure and functioning of individual organs and systems of aperson in normal and pathological conditions, to study their topographic anatomy.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of topographic anatomy and operative surgery of certain areas of organsand systems of the human body, taking into account gender and age characteristics. To be able tocarry out a differential diagnosis of surgical diseases and the choice of schemes for surgical andmedical, anesthetic interventions during resuscitation, determine the ability to work.
  • To study the cellular and molecular basis of immune responses in various diseases, to determinemethods for diagnosing therapy, preventing infectious and viral diseases in children and adults.
  • Advise patients (take an anamnesis, conduct an examination, conduct a clinical analysis, diagnosisand differential diagnosis, draw up a treatment plan), carry out preventive and rehabilitationmeasures. Apply theoretical and practical knowledge to solve educational and practical problems.
  • Master the basics of organizational activities of general medical practice, patient counseling, adisease management program, a universal progressive model of patronage services for pregnantwomen and young children at the PHC level. Resolve issues of temporary and permanentdisability of patients. Apply knowledge and understanding at a professional level, formulatearguments and solve problems in the field of study.
  • Provide emergency medical care, including first aid and resuscitation. Use the triage system inemergency care. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding based on advanced knowledge.
