On December 10, 2025, an Erasmus+ Information Day was held in Astana at Esil University. The event was a significant and large-scale occasion that brought together representatives of higher education institutions, researchers, and administrative staff actively involved in the implementation and development of international educational projects.

Within the framework of the Information Day, Esil University provided an exhibition area for the presentation of successful Erasmus+ initiatives. At this venue, the team of Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University presented the Erasmus+ projects currently being implemented, including:– ERASMUS+ /KA2/ CBHE 101177914 ESGCA — “Strengthening the Links between Environmental Challenges, Social Needs and Good Governance in the Education and Employment Sectors of Central Asia.”

The exhibition presented by Ualikhanov University attracted considerable interest from the event participants. Visitors demonstrated a high level of engagement with the project’s thematic focus, its strategic objectives and expected outcomes, as well as with the practical mechanisms for integrating ESG approaches into higher education systems and the employment sector. The presented project clearly highlighted the importance of a comprehensive approach to addressing environmental and social challenges through the development of sustainable governance, the modernization of educational programmes, and the strengthening of cooperation between universities, the labour market, and other relevant stakeholders in Central Asian countries.
