On December 10, 2025, an Erasmus+ Information Day was held in Astana at Esil University. This significant and large-scale event brought together representatives of higher education institutions, researchers, and administrative staff actively involved in the implementation and development of international educational projects.
Within the framework of the Information Day, Esil University provided an exhibition area for the presentation of successful Erasmus+ initiatives. At this venue, the team of Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University presented the Erasmus+ projects currently being implemented, including:– ERASMUS+ /KA2/ CBHE 101129032 LESLIE — “Land Management, Environment and Solid Waste: Integrating Education and Business in Central Asia.”
The exhibition presented by Ualikhanov University attracted strong interest from the event participants. Visitors demonstrated a high level of interest in the project’s thematic focus, its objectives and achieved results, as well as in practical solutions aimed at developing competencies in the fields of land management, environmental protection, and solid waste management. The presented project highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation between the higher education system and the business community, as well as the relevance of training specialists capable of effectively addressing applied environmental challenges and responding to contemporary sustainable development issues in Central Asian countries.
