The second meeting of the 574099-EPP project was held at the National University of Mongolia (Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia) on September 26-28, 2017-1-2016-1-ITEPPKA2-CBHE-SP PAWER "Paving the way for inter-regional mobility and ensuring compliance, quality and equity of access". The meeting was attended by universities from Italy, Bulgaria, Poland and the United Kingdom, as well as partner universities from 8 countries belonging to 4 different regions (Central Asia, Russia, the Caucasus and Asia). From KSU named after Sh. Ualikhanov's local project coordinator from the University Gulim Iskakova participated in the meeting.


The meeting began with a welcoming speech by the Vice-rector of the National University of Mongolia, Professor B. Ochirguyag. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the PAWER project for the university and the Mongolian strategy for internationalization and capacity building among new generations of Mongolian students.


After the first greeting, Prof. Anna Tozzi, Vice-Rector for International Relations at the University of L'Aquila and Chief project coordinator, outlined the main goals of the project. Professor Tozzi emphasized the importance of "mobility", "credit recognition", and "common language".


An overview of the project was presented by Dr. Massimiliano D'oncoceno from the University of L'Aquila, who briefly presented the main activities of the project, the action plan for the first and second years of the project. Dr. D'oncoceno then listed the missing administrative documents on partnership agreements, financial identification forms, and the letter of approval for the replacement of Kavkaz University.


Dr Georgios Dafoulas from the University of Middlesex (England) spoke about" Organizing study trips to the EU " (Development). In general, he reported on the activities carried out and the preparation of training weeks that will be organized in Europe from the end of October 2017. During the discussion, it was officially decided that the weeks of training will be held at the University of Middlesex (UK), the University of Szeged (Hungary) and the University of Applied Sciences in Wroclaw (Poland), and not at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (Bulgaria), as stipulated in the original project form.


The leaders of the work packages made presentations on all work packages, emphasizing the importance of implementing and meeting the deadline.


According to the agenda, the last day of the meeting was dedicated to separate meetings between the University of L'Aquila and each partner. This meeting focused on several problems that partners have when filling out documents, transferring money, and providing documentation. All individual meetings ended after a brief Q & A session.


All participants of the meeting were awarded certificates.
