The University of Santiago de Compostela is hosting a series of training sessions within the CirculEC project for Central Asian university teachers, from March 24 to 27, 2025.
Colleagues from the University of Santiago de Compostela share their experience developing circular and sustainable entrepreneurship in Spain and across Europe with the training participants.
Representatives from local companies TEIMAS and ARROUPA shared their experience in developing the circular economy by presenting real case studies from their businesses:
- Presentation of a Circular Company: Creating Innovative and Efficient Technological Solutions for Waste Management – TEIMAS (Estrella Moreira, Product Manager at TEIMAS; Daniel Cid, Operations Manager at TEIMAS);
- Presentation of a Circular Company: Employment Insertion in the Field of Textile Reuse – ARROUPA (Isabel Fraga, General Manager at ARROUPA).
Thus, the training participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the circular economy and sustainable development, as well as explore the specifics of creating and operating circular and sustainable business models in European companies.
