Project description
Waste management is one of the most pressing issues for the Republic of Kazakhstan, as currently the amount of waste is significantly increasing. There are systemic problems in creating waste management infrastructure, and the lack of qualified specialists. Another serious problem for the agricultural regions of Kazakhstan is the management of agricultural waste, since this area is not taken into account even by the existing legislation. In this regard, there is a need to create a new approach to waste management.
The project aims to develop a master's program in waste management at each university in the partner country, which will be implemented and accredited by all universities of the consortium.
The developed program will contribute to the development of a closed-loop economy in neighboring EU countries, ensure mutual understanding of EU and non-EU partners in the field of waste management, help raise awareness of waste and environmental programs, and ensure better waste management in partner countries in the future, supporting the labor market with the required specialists.
The aim of the project
- is to develop Master's degree programs in waste management
- raising awareness of the closed economy through the development of new curricula of higher educational institutions.
Project objectives
- development of high-quality training programs on waste management that meet international requirements and their implementation in the educational process;
- exchange of experience and transfer of knowledge between partner countries, training and internships at EU and partner universities;
- raising awareness of the public and authorities about problems in the field of waste management through round tables, consultations and relevant social networks;
- ensuring sustainability through effective and targeted dissemination of project results at the regional, national and interproject levels.
Target group
- university management interested in developing new master's degree programs that meet the demand needs of the labor market;
- government agencies and the public interested in developing regional waste management programs, as well as developing agricultural waste management policies

ANNOUNCEMENT OF A TENDER FOR THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE UNWASTE PROJECT
To Heads of Organizations and Enterprises
Within the framework of the project 618715-EPP-1-2020-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JPUn-Waste "Development of closed cycle economy in partner countries through the development and implementation of master's program "Waste Management" (UnWaste)", it is planned to purchase equipment for NJSC "Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov". The equipment is purchased for educational purposes.
Please provide a proposals in accordance with the specification.
Deadline for submission of proposals is 5 working days.
Starting date for submission of proposals from 17:00 " 15" April 2024.
Deadline for submission of proposals at 17:00 "22" April 2024.
Upon expiration of the deadline, all offers of potential suppliers shall be rejected.
The price offer of a potential supplier shall contain:
1) Name of the potential supplier, its legal and actual address, contact phone number and bank details;
2) Name of characteristics, quantity of goods (materials) to be supplied, as well as the scope of work to be performed and services to be rendered;
3) Price per unit and total price of goods, materials, works, services, with all costs for delivery of goods, installation and start-up of equipment, performance of works, rendering of services, excluding value added tax.
4) The Supplier shall submit a quotation in EUR.
5) Due to the fact that this project is an international project, the supplier shall provide a proposals in three languages: English, Kazakh, Russian.
All prices shall be compared and contrasted without value added tax (VAT). If the organization or enterprise is not a VAT payer, it is necessary to provide the relevant document.
The supplier shall provide a certificate of сonformity for the goods. Selection of the supplier will be determined by voting of the tender commission. The supplier will be selected with the lowest price of the equipment to be procured. A tripartite contract will be concluded with the selected supplier for delivery of the equipment within 30 days from the date of signing and handing over the tranche and 50 percent prepayment. The second installment of 50 percent payment will be sent to the supplier after installation and placement of the equipment.
