On October 5, 2015, the First National Forum in Kazakhstan on "Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship"was held at the T. Ryskulov NEU(Almaty) Within the framework of the 544126-TEMPUS project -1-2013-1-ES-TEMPUS-JPHES "Strengthening Career Centers in Central Asian universities to expand graduates 'employment opportunities and create high-quality UNIWORK employment".

The forum is organized by: University of Alicante, FH Joanneum University of Applied SciencesJoanneum, T. Ryskulov NEU, KSU named after Sh Ualikhanov and the Association of Commercial and Industrial Enterprises.

The event was attended by trainers from FH Joanneumgesellschaft GmbH (Austria), as well as representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 32 Kazakh universities, the coordinator of the National Office of Erasmus + in Kazakhstan, representatives of the British Council, heads and employees of Career Centers of universities in Kazakhstan, associations and the business sector from Kazakhstan, experts and consultants of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, businessmen, also students and graduates of domestic universities.

The forum was aimed at the participation of organizations and institutions interested in the situation of youth employment, analysis and discussion of the situation of youth employment and entrepreneurship in the country, identification of the profile and potential of young employees, exchange of best practices and constructive dialogue on youth employment and its effective employment, promotion of communication between universities and the business sector, discussion of the role of Career Centers universities and their development prospects, as well as dissemination of information about the TEMPUS 2013UNIWORK project.

The forum participants got acquainted with the goals, objectives and stages of the TEMPUS 2013 UNIWORK project implementation, as well as with the best practices of domestic, European and Central Asian partner universities for effective employment of graduates and training them in entrepreneurship. At the round table sections, the roles of Career Centers in universities and prospects for their development were vigorously discussed, as well as preparing students for employment and completing internships, increasing youth employment and developing entrepreneurship. At the end of the Forum, comprehensive conclusions and recommendations were made to contribute to national strategies for increasing youth employment and entrepreneurship development, as well as specific recommendations for improving the work of universities in organizing students ' practice and strengthening the employment system of university graduates.
