CIRCULAR ECONOMY HACKATHON 2025 — Central Asia Edition

Join the regional competition for the best circular economy business ideas from Central Asian students and young innovators.

🗓️ KEY DATES

  • National Stage: registration and submission open until 30 November 2025
  • Regional Final (Central Asia): 20 December 2025

🧩 HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1️⃣ Form a team of 1–5 students (any field of study).
2️⃣ Register via your national Google Form.
3️⃣ Prepare and upload:

  • 📊 5-slide presentation
  • 🎥 25-second video pitch

💼 YOUR PRESENTATION (5 SLIDES) SHOULD INCLUDE:

  1. Team and Idea Name — introduce your team and your concept.
  2. Problem & Solution — what challenge are you solving and how?
  3. Target Market — who will use your product or service?
  4. Unit Economics — short calculation of costs, price, and profitability.
  5. Environmental Impact — how your idea supports sustainability and circularity.

🎬 YOUR VIDEO PITCH (UP TO 25 SECONDS) SHOULD INCLUDE:

  • Short and clear explanation of your idea (max 40 words).
  • Mention your team name and country.
  • Emphasize:
    • the core idea,
    • the expected impact,
    • and why your solution matters for your region.

🧭 STAGES OF THE COMPETITION

  • During the National Stage, submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by experts and the public.
  • Finalists at the national level will be invited to participate in the Regional Final, representing their country among the best teams of Central Asia.
  • The Regional Final will bring together the most promising ideas for presentation, feedback, and awards.

⚙️ EVALUATION CRITERIA

  • The winners will be selected based on expert evaluation and audience voting, ensuring transparency and fairness.
