On 22 August 2025, a Round Table discussion was held at Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University as part of the scientific and technical program BR21881871, “Development of Technologies and Practices for Forage Harvesting on Kazakhstan’s Forage Lands in the Context of Sustainable Management” (2023–2025), implemented under the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.The event brought together Vice-Rector for Research and Regional Engagement, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor A.D. Zhakupova, agricultural producers, representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Land Relations of the Akmola Region, the Akmola Regional Branch of the State Commission for Variety Testing of Agricultural Crops, as well as agricultural scientists from the Department of Agriculture and Bioresources.In her opening remarks, Aigul Zhakupova highlighted that the university’s agricultural researchers, in collaboration with leading scientists across Kazakhstan, are currently implementing research projects focused on the establishment of high-productivity pasturelands.Speakers emphasized that the region possesses substantial potential for strengthening and improving the forage base of livestock farming, and exchanged views on key challenges and priorities in the development of forage production.At the conclusion of the meeting, the agricultural scientists reaffirmed their commitment to close and mutually beneficial cooperation with agricultural producers, aimed at addressing pressing issues in the development of livestock farming and forage production in the Akmola Region.
