On December 27, 2023, at the Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Malik Gabdullin, a round table meeting was held to discuss the educational program of the master’s degree 7M11201 “Life Safety and Environmental Protection” and the development plan for the educational program. Participants in the discussion:
- Almenbaev Meirzhan Maratovich, deputy head of the M. Gabdullin Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan for scientific work, candidate of technical sciences, lieutenant colonel of civil protection.
- Zakharov Igor Anatolyevich, head of the research center of the Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Gabudullin, candidate of technical sciences, lieutenant colonel of civil protection.
- Erubaev Zhaslan Zhanibekovich, deputy chief of fire department 10 of Kokshetau, State Institution "Fire extinguishing and Emergency rescue service" Emergency Situations Department of Akmola region, major of civil protection.
- Narbaev Kalizhan Anuarbekovich, assistant professor of the department of “Mining, Construction and Ecology”, PhD, associate professor (associate professor) in the specialty “Safety of Human Activities”, civil defense colonel in reserve.
- Aitzhanova Madina Rustamovna, lecturer of the Department of Mining, Construction and Ecology, Master of Technical Sciences.
Based on the results of the discussion, employers proposed recommendations for improving the educational program and the introduction of 3 multilingual disciplines for students of this educational program.
