Today, Marat Syrlybayev, Rector of Ualikhanov University, participated in a meeting with H.E. Alar Karis, President of the Republic of Estonia.
- During the meeting, President Karis delivered a guest lecture at Nazarbayev University, focusing on international cooperation in science and education, digitalization, and the advancement of education in the era of artificial intelligence.
- The Estonian delegation’s visit continued with the “Rectors’ Forum,” a roundtable bringing together rectors and senior leaders from Kazakhstan’s universities and leading Estonian institutions.
- For Ualikhanov University, the forum marked a key milestone, as the university signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Estonian University of Life Sciences (EMU). Under the agreement, both parties will promote academic mobility for students and faculty, collaborate on joint research projects supported by international grants, and exchange knowledge and findings in the fields of agricultural and natural sciences.
- The MoU with EMU strengthens Ualikhanov University’s international partnerships and opens new opportunities for students, faculty, and early-career researchers across the region.
