Ualikhanov University Researchers at the “KSMA Science Days – 2026”

The delegation of the Higher School of Medicine of Ualikhanov University successfully participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “KSMA Science Days – 2026”, held at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaev.

Our researchers - from ambitious students to young scientists demonstrated a high level of scientific training and once again confirmed the competitiveness of the university’s medical school in the international academic arena.OUR WINNERS:

2nd Place:

• Murzagulov Nurymazhan Abievich (PhD student, 2nd year, Senior Lecturer at the Higher School of Medicine)
• Ivan Shishkin (intern, Higher School of Medicine)
• Aibota Abutalipova (intern, “Poster Presentations” section)

3rd Place:

• Karina Kozhakhmet (3rd-year student, Higher School of Medicine)
• Darya Borisova (5th-year student, “Current Issues in Surgery 1” section)
• Adil Istemesov (5th-year student, “Current Issues in Surgery 1” section)

These achievements became possible thanks to the high level of academic supervision. Under the guidance of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of Ualikhanov University Nurbek Igissin, four researchers won prize places. Three of them are students of our university, while the fourth is a PhD student of KSMA, Roman Kleshnev, who was awarded the 1st place.

Under the supervision of Marzhan Myrzakhanova, Candidate of Medical Sciences and Associate Professor at Ualikhanov University, three university students became prize winners.

Under the supervision of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of Ualikhanov University Kulsara Rustembekovna Rustemova, Alua Sadriten, a student of the Astana Medical University, won an honorable 3rd place.

We also express our sincere gratitude to the Dean of the Higher School of Medicine, Yuri Lisitsyn, for the excellent organization of the trip and comprehensive support for young researchers, which ensured достойное representation of our university at the international level.

Such impressive results were achieved thanks to the professionalism, strong scientific school, and mentoring experience of our faculty members.
The effective integration of science, education, and mentorship at Ualikhanov University continues to shape a new generation of competitive specialists.
