On November 15, 2025, the first meeting of the Project Office for the implementation of the Serpin project was held at the Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University, chaired by the Deputy Head of the Project Office, Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development A. Kapyshev.

The goal of the program is to train and employ young people from the densely populated southern regions of the country (Almaty, Zhambyl, Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Mangistau regions) in the eastern, northern and central regions of Kazakhstan experiencing a shortage of personnel.

In their speeches, the head of the internal policy department of the Akmola region A. Alin and the deputy head of the department for the coordination of employment and social programs of the Akmola region E. Mukhamedin noted the goals and objectives of the Project оffice, presented a plan for further implementation of the project aimed at solving the problem of personnel shortages in the Akmola region. Since the beginning of the Project implementation, more than 4 thousand students have been accepted for the period from 2014 to 2024, of which 1946 graduates have successfully completed their studies. Today, more than1600 students are studying at the university under the project.

Summing up the meeting, A. Kapyshev noted that in order to successfully achieve the goal of the Project - employment in the regions of development, of which there are currently 8 (Akmola, East Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Karaganda, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan, Ulytau region, Abay region), In order to retain graduates in their places of work and generally increase the attractiveness of the Project, state support is needed in terms of providing housing and integration with other existing state programs for young specialists.
