As part of the Nauryznama decade, the Higher School of Business and Law hosted a meaningful event dedicated to Shanyrak Day.

The celebration, held on March 17, stood out for its warm and vibrant atmosphere, rich in national spirit and traditions. The program featured traditional Kazakh games such as asyk atu, togyzqumalaq, arm wrestling (qol kuresi), and tug of war, where students enthusiastically demonstrated their strength, agility, and teamwork.

Special attention was given to cultural heritage: guests were welcomed with a traditional dastarkhan filled with national dishes, and everyone had the opportunity to taste Nauryz kozhe - a symbolic dish representing renewal and prosperity. A particularly meaningful moment of the event was the blessings offered by elders, adding a deep spiritual dimension to the celebration.

The intellectual highlight of the program was the “Zheti Kazyna” quiz, which brought together students and faculty to reflect on national values. This interactive format not only tested participants’ knowledge but also strengthened the connection between generations.

On this day, the academic space symbolically transformed into a shared shanyrak - a place where traditions, knowledge, and common values come together. Events like this play an important role in preserving cultural heritage, fostering unity, and nurturing a strong sense of identity among young people.
