A round table entitled «Modern Trends and Prospects for the Development of Biotechnology» was held at Ualikhanov University and dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Candidate of Technical Sciences Galina A. Loskutova. The event was organized by the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology.
Since 2002, G.A. Loskutova has been working at Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov. For more than two decades, she has been involved in training specialists within the educational programs «Processing Industries Technology» and «Biotechnology by industries». Throughout her professional career, she has established herself as a highly qualified educator, a dedicated mentor, and an experienced organizer of the academic process.
G.A. Loskutova is the author of four monographs, more than two hundred scientific publications, over thirty textbooks and teaching manuals, and the holder of three patents. Her research and pedagogical activities have made a significant contribution to the development of biotechnology education, the training of competent and highly qualified specialists, and the strengthening of the University’s scientific potential.
The event brought together colleagues from «Algabas» Training and Consultation Center (Kokshetau), the Akmola Branch of the National Center for Expertise and Certification, and Polzunov Altai State Technical University (Barnaul, Russian Federation). Participants also included her former students representing LLP «KazAgroExpertise», Information Policy Department of the Akmola Region Police Department (Kokshetau), and the dairy plant Milk project, as well as friends of G.A. Loskutova.
