Ualikhanov University hosted a meeting between students, faculty members, and participants of the international research expedition «Abylai Khan’s Sacred Path», dedicated to preserving historical heritage and promoting national history.
The event brought together scholars in history and literature, university professors, expedition members, and students.
Guests were presented with a documentary showcasing the expedition route and key research findings, offering deeper insight into historical sites and events connected with Abylai Khan.
By decision of the Academic Council, the expedition leader, prominent public figure Muratkazy Ydyrysuly, was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of Ualikhanov University in recognition of his contribution to the study and promotion of national values.
During the meeting, Muratkazy Ydyrysuly donated his authored works and rare publications to the university library.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss contemporary issues in historical research with the expedition team. The meeting became a platform for open dialogue and exchange of ideas, inspiring young people’s interest in national history.
