Today Ualikhanov University hosted Professor Francois Vellas, President of the International Association of Universities of the Third Age (IAUTA), and Professor Janka Sebera Chladecka, Board Member of IAUTA and Director of the University of the Third Age at the University of Economics in Bratislava. Honored guests attended the official opening of the 5th season of the Silver University at Ualikhanov University.
The Silver University is an educational program designed for the older generation, implemented within the framework of lifelong learning. Over the past four seasons 522 participants have completed the program, and this year 138 new students have enrolled.
A special curriculum has been developed for participants, including courses on cognitive skills development, social media marketing, the use of artificial intelligence in everyday life, English, and other subjects. This year, 19 courses are offered in total.
Collaboration with IAUTA opens new opportunities for the development of the Silver University. International experts provide guidance and share their experience.
Ualikhanov University places special emphasis on supporting the senior population of the region and promoting active longevity initiatives, recognizing the significant societal impact of this project.
