Meeting with Public Service Representatives Held at Ualikhanov University

The Career Center of Ualikhanov University organized a meeting with representatives of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs.

The main purpose of the event was to attract young people to public service and raise awareness of career opportunities in this field.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department – Chair of the Ethics Council, N.T. Batyrkulov, Head of the Civil Service Department Zh.T. Seitmaganbetova, Chief Specialist of the Anti-Corruption Prevention Unit G.M. Sagadiyeva, as well as Head of the Career Center A.A. Tazhmieva and students of the Pedagogical Institute.

During the dialogue session, students received comprehensive information on entering public service after graduation, the stages of the selection process, and positions that can be obtained without a competitive selection procedure.

Participants were also introduced to the testing system for assessing knowledge of the state language and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the evaluation of candidates’ personal competencies.

Students actively engaged in the discussion, asking questions about salaries in the public sector, career growth opportunities, and the key qualities required for candidates. The meeting was held in an open and constructive format, providing students with valuable and practice-oriented insights into public service.

Such events contribute to increasing young people’s interest in public service and support their informed career choices.
