Council of Young Scientists and Students
The Council of Young Scientists (referred to as CYS hereafter) is a public organization formed of individuals under 35 years old who are students, teachers, and researchers at the University. They come together based on shared interests in scientific pursuits.
The Council conducts its operations following an annual work plan. At the end of the year, the CYS compiles a report, which is presented at the general meeting of the NTS and the University's Academic Council.
The primary responsibilities of the CYS include:
- Fostering the advancement of creative scientific endeavors among young scientists at Kokshetau University and students, while also advocating for their interests in enhancing the conditions for scientific work within the university's governing bodies.
- Arranging conferences, seminars, and gatherings for young scientists, hosting lecture series by prominent researchers, and participating in national and international conferences, seminars, and symposia.
- Providing support and incentives for the innovative initiatives of young scientists and students, and coordinating activities related to investment programs and project proposals put forth by young scientists.
