A heartfelt alumni reunion
16.04.2025 y. a heartfelt alumni reunion was held at Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University, organized with the support of the "Alumni Association" and the Center for Generational Continuity "ELEVATE" of the Pedagogical Institute. The event brought together graduates of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and was filled with genuine emotions, gratitude, and pride for their alma mater.
From the very first minutes, the event was greeted with a warm welcome speech by Aigul Zhakupova, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Youth Policy, who set the tone for a special atmosphere.
In 1965, the Departments of German and English Languages were established at the Faculty of Philology. The Department of German was headed by O.A. Palgov, and the Department of English by G.I. Bogin.
The guests of the event expressed their gratitude to their respected teachers, including N. L. Eremia, L. A. Mirgalieva, L. N. Krasnikova, R. G. Mashikova, V. A. Belts, N. N. Rostovtseva, Z. E. Shutova, and R. P. Klaus. They also paid tribute to the memory of V. I. Morokova and other teachers who had a significant impact on their lives.
Ph.D. Zhumagulova N.S., Ph.D. Nemchenko N.F., Ph.D. Kalieva A.K., Ph.D. Meirmanova K.S. addressed the audience with words of greeting.
Successful alumni who had traveled from various regions of the country — B.K. Zholamanov, N.N. Sakuov, A.B. Ashimov, and L.V. Cherepanova — shared their heartfelt memories of student life.
The event was filled with emotion and warmth, bringing together graduates from different years who were united by their passion for the profession, gratitude for their alma mater, and a desire to maintain a connection with each other for years to come.
