The project partners' meeting was held in Almaty, 22-25 November 2017. The International University of Information Technologies (IUIT), Almaty was responsible for organising and conducting the workshop.

The venue was chosen by the IUIT team at the Sanatorium Kazakhstan, which provided a meeting room equipped with all technical facilities.

The first day - 23 November 2017 - started with an overview of the issues to be addressed in the meeting and the representative of the grant holder (Burgas Free University) Maria Monova-Zheleva presented the work plan and overview of the activities that were carried out by the project work packages owners.

Question 1: Experimental work of the project and the equipment of the platform on which the modernised disciplines are based.

Each partner presented reports on the status of the platform and the equipment of the laboratories that were opened in the universities of Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The universities showed a presentation of the laboratories and showed the access to the training platforms of the modernised disciplines.

The next important report, in our opinion, was the monthly monitoring of the disciplines to be modernised, the universities presented screenshots of the feedback results of the students studying these disciplines.

The Country Project Coordinator Kakabayev A.A. (Kokshetau State University named after Sh. Ualikhanov) presented the WP-4 report, in which he noted the features of informing about the project results. An important result of the ACADEMICA project is the platform that learners and teachers use to share knowledge, skills and abilities. All teachers included in the project posted their syllabuses and teaching packages on the platform.

The 2nd issue which was also considered by all partners was the presentation of the disciplines to be experimented in the second semester (summer).

The second day - 24 November 2017 - was organised by the IUIT project partners and started with a visit to the university. An exhibition of students' innovative work was presented in the foyer of the university. It should be noted that students have every opportunity to implement the most daring ideas, in the implementation of which the faculty members provide great professional assistance. Here we saw terminals, which could print out documents via the messaging system.

At the end of the meeting the next stages of the project were discussed and all participants were given certificates of participation.
