International meeting within the framework of the Erasmus + KA2 2018 KUTEL project

First meeting of Erasmus project partners + 598377-EPP-1 -2018-1 - IT-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP “Universities of Kazakhstan for the improvement of quality assurance processes in education using new technologies” KUTEL was held at the Guglielmo Marcon University in Rome. (Italy) Ualikhanov University was represented by the Vice-Rector for E and EMW, project teacher Aigul Zhakupova, Head of the Department of Age and Social Pedagogy, local project coordinator Aisulu Shayakhmetova and Senior Manager of the International Project Management Center, Project Administrative Officer Lyazzat Bermaganbetova. The meeting was attended by foreign partners: Burgas Free University (Burgas, Bulgaria), Turku University (Turku, Finland), Greek Open University (Patras, Greece); 6 universities from Kazakhstan: International University of Information Technologies, Almaty University of Energy and Communications, Zhezkazgan University named after O.A.Baikonurov, Kokshetau University named after A.Myrzakhmetov, Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute and Kokshetau State University named after Sh. Ualikhanov. As well as non-academic partners of the project - MES RK, IAAR and the Public Foundation "Youth Foundation of the Leader of the Nation". The meeting was organizational and methodical. On the first day, a presentation of work packages was held, our university – KSU named after Sh.Ualikhanov was appointed responsible for WP4 – Distribution and operation of the project results. Local coordinator Aisulu Shayakhmetova presented the plan and content of the work package 4. On the first day, the important tasks of the project, their deadlines and responsible partners were also discussed, which were told by the project leaders: -Guglielmo Marconi University and the International University of Information Technology. The project partners discussed organizational issues on planning further activities and compliance with the time frame of the project. The first results of WP 4 were the development of a valorization plan and the creation of a project logo. The second day was devoted to monitoring the state of management in universities of Kazakhstan. All Kazakh partners have prepared their presentations, told about achievements and problems in their universities. Since the project is aimed at improving the management of higher education, our partners are the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the IAAR and the Public Foundation "Youth Foundation of the Leader of the Nation" During this meeting, the project granholder agreed with all partners on further work in the project. We talked about the concrete results of the project and the prospects for the effective work of each university.
