On April 25, 2025, an official visit of the delegation from the Xinjiang Pedagogical Institute and Beijing Foreign Studies University (PRC) took place at Shokan Ualikhanov Kokshetau University. The purpose of the visit was to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation and sign a partnership agreement in the field of education and science.

During the visit, negotiations were held with the leadership of Shokan Ualikhanov Kokshetau University. The parties discussed key areas of collaboration, including teacher training, academic mobility of students and faculty, exchange of methodological developments, implementation of joint research projects, and development of programs in inclusive and preschool education.
As a result of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed among the founding members of the Xinjiang–Central Asian Alliance for Preschool Education — Xinjiang Pedagogical University, Osh State University, and Shokan Ualikhanov Kokshetau University. Thus, Kokshetau University became a full-fledged member of the alliance.
This agreement is aimed at fostering sustainable partnerships, strengthening international educational ties, and implementing strategic initiatives in preschool education, as well as forming a unified educational space between Central Asia and China.
The visit marked an important step in expanding the university’s international cooperation and opened up new horizons for the professional and scientific development of students and faculty.
