In March 2022, Zharkinbekov Temirkhan Niyazovich (1966-2021), candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences, professor of RAE, academician of the MAI RK, would have turned 56 years old. Zharkinbekov T.N. born on March 28, 1966 in the village named after. Kalinin, Turkestan region, South Kazakhstan region. He began his career at the age of 15 as a 3rd category worker in the Turkestan mechanical forestry enterprise. In 1984-1991 studied at the geological exploration faculty of the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after. IN AND. Lenin. Having received a diploma with honors, he worked as an assistant in the department of “Geological survey, prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits”. Already in 1995, Temirkhan Niyazovich was deputy dean of the geological exploration faculty for academic work. In 1997 - Director of the Department of Education and Advanced Training of Geology Workers of JSC KazNEDRA under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 1994-1998 – postgraduate student of KazNTU named after. K.I. Satpayev with a degree in Regional Geology. In 1998 – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and from August 1998 to 2002. – Rector of a non-state university – Geotechnological University “ARNA”. In 2002-2003 Temirkhan Niyazovich served as deputy director of the research institute “Kazakh Institute of Mineral Raw Materials”. From 2003 to 2005 – head of the training and production site of the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU). From 2005 to 2007 he worked at KazNTU named after. K.I. Satpayeva. In 2006, he defended his dissertation on the topic “Tectonomagmatic development and industrial gold content of the Kogadyr ore field of Kendyktas”, submitted for the degree of candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences. In 2011-2013 - Director of the Institute of Geology and Oil and Gas Business named after. K. Turysov KazNTU named after. K.I. Satpayeva. From 01/25/2013 to 02/17/2021 – Vice-Rector of the RSE at the RSE “Kokshetau State University named after. Sh. Ualikhanov.” Rich and vibrant professional activity of T.N. Zharkinbekova is associated with his great intellectual potential, whose teaching experience is more than 30 years. Temirkhan Niyazovich’s career at our university began in 2013 as the first vice-rector. From 2017 to 2019, as vice-rector for scientific work and international relations, he worked with the Center for International Project Management and provided great assistance and support, both with advice and deeds. He competently and efficiently used all his knowledge and skills in this area. Under Temirkhan Niyazovich, international relations at our university actively developed. Under his leadership, a number of international educational projects under the Erasmus+ program were implemented. Now Kokshetau University named after. Sh. Ualikhanov takes 5th place in the Republic of Kazakhstan in international relations - and this is no small merit of Zharkinbekov Temirkhan Niyazovich. From 2019 until the end of his life, he worked as vice-rector for strategic planning and infrastructural development of Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov. He made a significant contribution to strengthening the material and technical base of the university. Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Professor Zharkinbekov Temirkhan Niyazovich worked in the working group of such European projects as I-WEB and ACADEMICA. In 2015, he became the head of the ACADEMICA project. As part of the implementation of the international project ACADEMICA, a team of scientists went on business trips to discuss issues related to the modernization of educational programs in engineering and technical fields. Temirkhan Niyazovich spoke and voiced issues of technical and engineering education in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, since we were country coordinators in this project and many decisions came from our team. Temirkhan Niyazovich knew all the strategies and tasks for the development of engineering and technical education in Kazakhstan, and had several research works in this area. In the work on the I-WEB project, being the first vice-rector, he provided institutional support in general and actively worked as a member of the working group, prepared and discussed reports and presentations with us, made presentations to European partners on issues of integrated water resources management, responded to issues, solved all assigned tasks carefully and promptly, was the author of a number of articles in the collective monograph of the project. He knew the higher education system well and deeply studied advanced technologies in the education and science systems. His knowledge in the field of IT, nano and robotic technologies, and his desire to introduce digitalization were particularly noteworthy. He was respected by everyone - professors, teachers, undergraduates and students. He always sought to help and support everyone who approached him with any question. Such comprehensive activities earned him enormous authority and respect among the teaching staff and administration of the university. Temirkhan Niyazovich had business qualities, high professionalism and the ability to work in a team. These are the qualities inherent in a true leader who knows how to manage, increase and stimulate human potential, which ultimately leads to the effective work of the entire team. Zharkinbekov T.N. made a significant contribution to the development of international cooperation in the framework of the implementation of several projects. Under his leadership, many innovations were introduced within the framework of the implementation of several projects within the framework of the work of the Center for International Cooperation. He contributed to the opening of the Water Quality Laboratory at the International Project Management Center. During his work as project manager TEMPUS IV and ERASMUS plus at Kokshetau State University named after. Sh. Ualikhanov Temirkhan Niyazovich proved himself to be a responsible and highly professional leader. Initiative, integrity, the ability to bring the work started to a successful completion, responsiveness and decency - these are not all the qualities for which we value and respect him. Temirkhan Niyazovich treated his family with special care, loved his family very much, was proud of and valued it. He was an example for others, he was always a faithful, devoted and reliable friend and comrade. He never let anyone down and knew how to firmly keep his word, always lending a helping hand to those who needed it. He always respected his elders and looked after his younger ones. A characteristic feature of the professor was his calmness in any situation, optimism, and respectful attitude towards everyone. He always radiated warmth, kindness, joy and optimism, decency and nobility. In his presence there was always an atmosphere of positivity and cordiality. Temirkhan Niyazovich was a kind, bright, decent and sincere person. The life path of Zharkinbekov Temirkhan Niyazovich is a worthy example of the fulfillment of civic duty, dictated by sincere passion for his work.
