Grant applicant: Institute of Service and Design of Khakass State University named after Katanova (Abakan, Russia).

The aim is

to create a school and train competitive specialists (bachelors, masters, doctors of sciences) in the field of hotel business and restaurant business with the issuance of diplomas of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international standards.

Higher hotel schools will be established in 4 regions: Yekaterinburg (Russia), Abakan (Russia), Chisinau (Moldova) and Kokshetau (Burabai, Kazakhstan).

Objectives

• Study of market demands.
• Compilation of reference books of professional activity.
• Study of international experience in the establishment of hotel business schools.
• Compilation and updating of standards, working curricula, ЕMС disciplines.
• Recruitment and training of students at the Higher Hotel School.
• Issuance of two diplomas (European and Kazakh samples).
• Dissemination of experience on the territory of Kazakhstan.

Results

Creation of the Higher School of Hotel and restaurant business on the basis of the Kokshetau State University named after Sh. Ualikhanov in the Shchuchinsko-Borovskoe resort area.
