On September 30, 2016, Kokshetau State University named after Sh. Ualikhanov hosted a big celebration of the university's 20th anniversary.

Within two days, a number of events were held as part of the anniversary celebration. A large exhibition of achievements in the educational and scientific fields of students, teachers and employees was held. The Uniwork project was actively presented to the guests of the exhibition Uniwork.

In addition, according to the strategic plan of the University Career Center, a meeting of graduates of economic specialties was organized within the framework of the TEMPUS 2013 UNIWORK project. Among them were: Асенов Daniyar Kairatovich Asenov-Head of the Small and Medium-sized Business Lending Departmentof Kazkommertsbank JSC, Deputy Director of the Akmola branchof Tsesna Bank JSC Bekenov Kanat Zhanatovich, Director of the Akmola regional branch of the Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan Gulnara Khusainovaand others.

They held a master class for students in which they talked about their achievements, how they built their career.
