From September 1 to 3, 2026, an Orientation Week was held for first-year students of the Higher School of Medicine

As part of the event, first-year students were introduced to the structure of the university, its main structural units and services. They also received important information about the organization of the educational process and the opportunities provided by the university.

A meeting with students was held at the Higher School of Medicine. During the meeting, students were introduced to the activities of the School, the Heads of Departments, and the teaching staff. Students had the opportunity to meet their future instructors, learn about the specifics of the educational process, and ask questions of interest to them.

Special attention was given to introducing students to the Simulation Center. They learned about the facilities and capabilities of the Simulation Center and its role in the practical training of future medical professionals.

In addition, meetings were organized for first-year students with representatives of the following university structural units and services:

Vice-Rectors of the University;Registrar’s Office;

University Psychological Service;

Security Service;

Digitalization Department;

International Office.

During the meetings, students learned about the activities of the university’s structural units, available services and resources, internal regulations, safety and security matters, the university’s digital opportunities, international programs, and other important aspects of student life.

The Orientation Week was an important stage in helping first-year students adapt to the university environment. The events provided students with an opportunity to become familiar with the university community, their instructors, and key structural units, as well as to obtain the information necessary for a successful start to their studies at the Higher School of Medicine.
