From April 9 to 23, 2026, students of the Higher School of Medicine — M. Archakova, N. Baurzhankyzy, K. Dimukhametova, and S. Raskazov — together with A.A. Shaizadaeva, lecturer of the Department of Morphology, Physiology, and General Pathology (Head of the Simulation Center), successfully completed an international educational internship in China 🇨🇳 as part of the academic mobility program.

  • Educational Program

The training was organized by the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China with the support of the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies.

Participating countries included Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan

The students studied:

the history and philosophy of traditional Chinese medicine

medicinal plants and modern biotechnologies

principles of Tibetan medicine and Ayurveda

clinical cases in acupuncture therapy

treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders using comprehensive approaches

Practical training sessions were held at leading medical institutions in China:

Acupuncture Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Guang’anmen Hospital

Zhengzhou Hospital of Chinese Medicine

Particular interest was drawn to unique techniques such as:
