Professor Tomaz Ponce Dentinho from the University of the Azores (Portugal) has arrived at Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University.
He is the first to open the visit of a group of international researchers within the framework of the Foreign Scholars Program and takes part in the project:“Sustainable Development of the Akmola Region under Climate Challenges: Global Trends and Regional Solutions.
”Professor Dentinho is a sustainability researcher. He believes that scientists working in this field are like doctors of the Earth.
“Our mission is to help the planet recover,” he says.Sustainability is a key focus of our university, and we are glad to join forces with scholars from around the world for the future of our region and our planet.
